BCMC is supporting a U.S. Government customer on a large mission critical development and sustainment program to sustain and operate a network operations environment, including introducing new cyber capabilities to address emerging threats. We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in AWS Cloud production and development environments. This role involves contributing to the design, development, and deployment of advanced cybersecurity capabilities to support CISA's mission today and into the future.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams as a critical contributor, focusing on the design, testing, and implementation of advanced cybersecurity software solutions.
• Oversee and maintain production systems in an AWS Cloud Environment, ensuring reliable operation and security.
• Perform automated patching, security updates, and remediation of security findings using Ansible.
• Assist in risk assessments and develop effective mitigation countermeasures as necessary.

Required Qualifications:
• U.S. Citizenship
• Active Secret clearance (with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance and DHS Suitability).

• 6+ years of directly relevant software development experience required.
• 2+ years of directly relevant experience in Agile full stack infrastructure engineering.
• Proficiency in Python for software development and automation.
• Demonstrated experience supporting production environments in the AWS Cloud Environment.
• Familiarity with Amazon EC2 instances, including building, patching, and sustaining them.

Desired Skills:
• Hands-on experience with AWS Systems Manager Patch Manager.
• Proficiency with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Expertise in scripting and automation tools such as Bash, Python, AWK, and SED.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in investigating and automating the remediation of security vulnerabilities.
• Experience with Elastic Kibana and Power BI
• Experience with AWS CloudWatch
• Demonstrated experience analyzing and automatically remediating CVE findings.
• Familiarity with working on WIZ or Nessus vulnerability findings, including analysis and automated remediation.

Desired Certifications:
• DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II
• CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)

Required Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline is required. [Eight (8) years of experience (for a total of fourteen (14) or more years) may be substituted for a degree.]
