BCMC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support a United States Government customer on a large mission critical development and sustainment program to design, build, deliver, and operate a network operations environment.
Clearance: Must be U.S. Citizen to be eligible for DoD Secret security clearance.
Core Work Hours: 7a-4p Monday – Friday, except Government Holidays
Place of Performance: Remote
Required Certifications: COMPTIA Security+
Responsibilities Include:
•Collaborating within Agile Scrum teams as a key contributor responsible for the design, test and implementation of advanced software capabilities.
• Developing and performing automated builds, testing, and deployments
• Transition and integrate legacy systems.
• Developing high quality technical documentation, including user guides, test plans, and contract deliverable items and supporting product training.
Required Skills:
• 8+ years of directly relevant software development experience
• 2+ years of experience with Agile software development
• Strong experience with the following technologies: Java or C#, XML, and Web Services (REST API and SAML)
• Ability to create well-modularized, maintainable software and willing to follow group coding standards and design.
• Proficiency with MS Office Applications
Desired Skills:
• Purchase Request Data Standard (PRDS) development or knowledge is desired
• Understanding or experience with the ServiceNow platform
• Certifications related to Agile development and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Practitioner (SP)
Required Education:
BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, OR Computer Systems Engineering. [Eight (8) years of experience (for a total of fourteen (14) or more years) may be substituted for a degree.]
